Perceel Centraal is a Precision Agriculture project. Goal of the project is to identify causes of yield and quality differences in a parcel, to analyse and to improve. To realize an optimal efficiency with a uniform quality.

Het onderzoek vindt plaats op proefpercelen van PPO ’t Kompas te Valthermond en op diverse praktijkpercelen begeleid door Agrifirm, HLB of IRS. Alle proef- en praktijkpercelen bevinden zich in het Noordoostelijk zand- en dalgrondgebied in Drenthe.

Het project Perceel Centraal is inmiddels afgerond maar is qua opzet en aanpak een inspiratiebron gebleken voor veel nieuwe projecten rondom het thema precisielandbouw.
